"All the world's a stage,
and all the men and women merely players..."
In a small town high school where the theater kids are divided into two groups due to conflicting views about "Romeo and Juliet", a girl from one group begins a secret romance with a boy from the other group. Meanwhile, Puck, a mischievous boy tricks two constantly-bickering members into falling for each other in the style of "Much Ado About Nothing". Another boy gets his brother to romance a girl to help him get with her sibling, much like "Taming of the Shrew". Various other Shakespearean works are referenced in the high school romantic comedy.
