On a remote island in the ruins of what we call Chicago, a family lives in a small village. Every year, the villagers have a celebration in which they launch a rocket in hopes of finding more people. One year, when the villagers are about to launch the 100th rocket, an airplane crashes on the island. Diana, a curious little girl searches the old airplane and finds a note attached to the window. She reads it and is shocked ! the note is written in her handwriting...with her name...dated 200 years before she was even born. Completely awestruck, she keeps it with her. Little does she know that the situation is more personal than she could ever imagine.
