Chapter 2 part 2

I go up to Apollo who has fallen on the floor and help him up. “We need to look for injured people. The gods with healing powers help us ttend to the injured,” I say in a serious tone. They listen in an instant not even paying attention to the fact that a human is telling them what to do. Zeus stands up from behind his throne, his throne drenched in blood. I rush over to him bringing a first aid kit along with me. “I can help you get cleaned up,” I say as I hand him the kit. He looks in my eyes and says “ You look exactly like my Hera did whenever she was determined to help me,” He says clearly seeing the memory in his head. He takes the kit from me and starts cleaning it up by himself. I shrug to myself and keep on helping other gods who are injured. Later that day, Hades , Persephony, and I walk back to the estate. Hades opens the door and does a full security measure. He scans over Persephony and comes to me. His violet eyes look over me, stopping at my lips. I start preparing myself, thinking that he is gonna kiss me. Guess what he says? “You have a cut on your bottom lip.” For a second I think that he did that on purpose, but then I run as fast as I can to the bathroom. My heart beating fast in my chest. When I turn around I hear a very low laugh, I look through the mirror and see Hades leaning against the doorpost. I turn around to look at him. He comes closer and closer. I close my eyes ready for a kiss, but he grabs a fresh tube of toothpaste behind me. I open my eyes and my cheeks are suddenly stained with red.I turn my face embarassed at what just happened. He turns and heads for the door, I stare at his retreating back. Why do I always make assumptions and predictions? I go back into my room and change into a simple red T-shirt and blue jeans. I throw a jean jacket over it , and I put my hair in a bun. I step into the hallway stopping in front if Hades’ room. The door is wide open and Hades has his back to me. He takes of his shirt revealing sculpted muscles. Out of shock I look a way and keep walking. I find Persephony in the kitchen making lunch. She hums as she dances to imaginary music in her head.  “What happened?” she asked. “Nothing,” I said trying hard not to remember Hades’ muscules. “You are blushing,” Persephony says as a laugh escapes her lips. I gasped and covered my cheeks with my hands. I sit at the kitchen island and chat with Persephony. Hades enters the room wearing a red T- shirt and jeans with a jean jacket over it. Persephony laughs loudly when her uncle enters the room. Hades and I look at her in confusion. “ You guys are both wearing the same clothes!” exclaims Persephony. Hades and I look at each other. ANOTHER blush creeps up my cheeks. After minutes of blushing Hades looks at me and says “You will have to stay for a little longer, because it is not safe for you to go home after the attack today.”  I nod and answer “I understand.”I turn my face embarassed at what just happened. Persephony shoves a cookie into my mouth before I manage to embarass myself. She winks and I nod a thanks.
