Chapter Fifty One

TAYLOR (P.O.V)

"This could work," I mutter, looking at myself wearing the bridesmaid dress, happy that it does fit and actually looks nice.

"You look amazing Taylor!" I turn around to see Mia wearing the same dress as me.

"Thanks, Mia, you look beautiful as well," I tell her, putting on some earrings.

"You ready for the wedding?"

"I guess so. I'm not the one getting married though so I feel fine." She laughs, sitting down on the chair. Mia and I are at her house, ready to drive to the church for Lila's wedding. I was going to drive myself to the church, yet Lila thought it would be a good idea for Mia to drive me so that both of us can arrive at the same time.

"You do feel happy that she's getting married though right?"

"Of course I feel happy for Lila, Mia. She's my sister. My only sister."

"It's just that you sound a bit sad," she says. I sigh, turning to look at her.

"I guess the sadness is just because Lila is getting married, and someday she'll start a family on her own, whereas I'll be stuck in Paris, taking care of the store."

"Do you honestly think she'll forget about you when you're miles away and she starts having a family with Shawn?" I shrug, tears almost forming in my eyes. "Aw babe, don't worry about it. If it makes you feel better, I still love you." I laugh at Mia, giving her a hug.

"Thanks, Mia. You were always like a sister to me as well," I tell her.

"I hope so. I was so much better than Lila," she says in laughter, breaking the hug. "Now don't shed one tear alright? You're gonna ruin your makeup and I'm gonna kill you if you do." I nod, grabbing a tissue and wiping the corner of my eyes.

"Do I look good?" I ask her, spinning around in the dress.

"You look beautiful. You were made to be a model." I smile at her compliment, grabbing my purse on the table.

"Ready to go?" She nods, grabbing her purse and keys we make our way outside, to her car. Mia starts the car, backing out of her driveway we drive to the church, hoping that there's no traffic along the way.

"So, how many people did Lila invite to the wedding?" I ask Mia, wondering if this is going to be a huge wedding considering how many guests she invited.

"Over five-hundred." My jaw drops in shock, just imagining over five-hundred guests at the wedding if full-on bonkers. Like why on earth that many people?

"What?! Are you being serious?!"

"Well yeah, it's Lila we're talking about. She wanted her wedding to be "out of this world" so of course, she invited anyone that she's ever met in her life at the wedding."

"Do you know who's coming that we actually know?"

"Um, well your parents and your whole entire family, Shawn's family as well, me, you," she tells me.

"Is that it?" I watch as Mia bites her lip nervously. "Mia?"

"Yup. That's it," she mumbles the last words quietly.

"Are you sure?"

"Yup. Now stop asking me questions and let me drive."

"Okay..." I try to read Mia's eyes and see what she's hiding behind all of this, yet nothing shows. Sighing I look out my window, trying to think who else Lila invited that somehow Mia is trying to hide from me. Seems like this wedding is gonna suck for me.

"Are you sure you're telling me everything?" I ask Mia again. She sighs, rolling her eyes.

"Of course Taylor."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Now shush niña," she tells me with a shush. Scoffing I turn to look out the window again, not loving what Mia's hiding from me. I'm also pretty sure Lila's in on this as well. Ugh, think Taylor! Who did Lila invite that she would try to keep a secret from me? Who? Just who? Well, I guess I'm gonna find out at the wedding and possibly kill Lila.

Pfft, who am I kidding? I'm gonna kill Lila and Mia.

The more, the merrier am I right?
