Fictional Air Disasters Season 1 [english]

Pobeda Flight 476 and Aeroflot Flight 1685

On July 25, 2022, the Boeing 737 airliner of Pobeda Airlines operated a regular passenger flight 476 Saratov-Moscow. The captain of the aircraft, 42-year-old Maxim Markov, worked for Pobeda Airlines for 4 years, flew 5 thousand hours, of which 2 thousand on a Boeing 737. Also flew on ATR-72, F-17. First Officer 27-year-old Yaroslav Gulenin, worked for Pobeda Airline for 2 years, but on a Boeing 737 recently, only 12 hours. This makes the commander nervous, since the co-pilot does not understand how to control him. Meanwhile, they still get to Moscow, and soon they will be sitting down.
[CAP] -- Pobeda 476, on approach to Yager Airport.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 476, descend 2500 feet, prepare for landing.
[CAP] -- Pobeda 476, descending 2500 feet, preparing for approach.
[FO] -- Bitch, how can I lower it?
[CAP] -- Yes, with the steering wheel from myself, with the steering wheel
Yaroslav is experiencing great difficulties in management, and the captain talks to the dispatcher. So the plane does not have time to descend to the desired height and flies the strip. The Go-Around alarm sounds, but they don't respond to iot. Then the dispatcher contacts them.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 476, fly over the lane, go to the second round.
[CAP] -- Pobeda 476, I confirm, I'm going to the second round.
[CAP] -- On the second we leave, we flew the campaign.
Commander Maxim Markov adds traction and lifts his nose up.
[FO] -- Where the f*ck are you going, we've flown the lane!
The plane is flying through the airport.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 476, follow my instructions, descend 2500 feet, and follow the approach pattern for the second round.
The plane turns its nose up, flies past the airport and flies straight up the mountain.
[CAP] -- F*cking mountain!
[GPWS] -- Terrain, Terrain, Pull Up!
Thanks to the efforts of the captain and co-pilot, the plane was saved from the mountain.
[FO] -- Phew, they flew by.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 476, do you hear?
[CAP] -- You can hear it well, we flew over the mountain.
[ATC] -- OK, then strictly follow my commands, keep to the left, go down 1000.
[CAP] -- Pobeda 476, keep to the left, going down 1000.
The plane began to turn to the left when another Pobeda flight from Kaliningrad began to land.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 476, do not descend, Flight 258 is entering the runway.
Also, the dispatcher contacts flight 258.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 258, descend 100, landing is allowed, flight 476 is on your left.
[CAP] -- Pobeda 258, descending 100, landing is allowed, I confirm, flight 476 is on my left.
Pobeda Airlines flight 258 lands.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 476, continue landing approach.
[CAP] -- Pobeda 476, continuing approach.
Meanwhile, Flight 476 circled over the airport 3 times.
Flight 476, began to make a landing approach, but the dispatcher in the meantime was flying Aeroflot flight 1685.
[FO] -- Aeroflot 1685, requesting permission to land.
[ATC] -- Aeroflot 1685, descend 100, landing is allowed.
[FO] -- Aeroflot 1685, landing was allowed, I am descending 100.
The airport is in a thick fog, ate as the pilots of Flight 476 find the 3L lane.
[FO] -- Here's the strip! I can see her!
The commander of flight 476, without permission to land, began to descend to the runway.
Meanwhile, the dispatcher HAS ALREADY ALLOWED Aeroflot Flight 1685 to land.
There were 2 minutes left before his landing. 13:03. Flight 476 is flying low over the runway. The co-pilot Yaroslav Gulenin recalls that they were not given permission to land and reports to the commander.
[FO] -- Listen, did they give us permission to land?
[CAP] -- Well, ask!
[FO] -- Pobeda 476, requesting permission to land.
[ATC] -- Pobeda 476, I forbid landing, Aeroflot 1685 is landing now.
[FO] -- WHICH AEROFLOT?!?!?!?
At the same time, Aeroflot 1685 contacts the dispatcher.
[FO] -- Aeroflot 1685, there are some lights on the runway below us.
[ATC] -- AEROFLOT 1685, GO TO THE SECOND ROUND, POBEDA 476 IS UNDER YOU!
[FO] -- WHAT!?!?
[CAPFLIGHT1685] -- ON THE SECOND, ON THE SECOND, ON THE SECOND!
[CAPFLIGHT476] -- F*CK!!!
Flight 476 and Flight 1685 collided...
The cause of the crash was the error of the flight crew 476, and a dispatcher error.
The dispatcher gave permission for flight 1685 to land, while Flight 476 was boarding. Flight 476 also had to request permission to land.
579 people died, only 20 survived.
