I knew it! I completely guessed it! How could she forget about the palm tree! :)))
I am also glad, that she has got her cottage. That's fair. And that alien scientist got his justice. That's what I call a happy end! Thank you for the book!

You have very vivid imagination! I really enjoy your book :) May be, Alice should have asked Tomas to let her take the giant palm tree home? She could keep it in the kitchen and make fruit sallad every day :)

Amazing! I have just been eating pineapple for breakfast, while reading in your book about huge pineapples :))))
Very interesting book!
N.B. Steampunk worlds usually remind of Victorian England; in 19-s century Great Britain wealthy people ate the food, which is ironically called by their descendants "beige&brown". "Beige": potato dishes, bread/flour-based dishes, rice, beans, eggs and so on. "Brown": cooked/baked/fried meat, game, poultry. With that - a little bit of greens,- for example, green peas. Desserts were also often beige - like puddings - or brown - like cakes. Plus tea - which also has brown color. So, typical Victorian/"steampunk" dinner would contain meat patties with mashed potato mixed with fatty cream, with green peas/green sallad on the side, tea&jam.
